One faculty artist who will be exhibiting said she is inspired by nature. "I grew up in Colorado, the land of cottonwood, aspen and pine trees. So I was intrigued by exotic flora and fauna in other places like Mexico, China, Peru and Europe. The Fan Palm drawing was inspired by a trip to Guadalajara. I'm just as inspired by my own back yard and you will see Chinese style paintings of Grackles and Date Palms in the faculty show", said Bonnie Loss who has been teaching at GCC for 23 years and has exhibited in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Denver Art Museum, Tucson Museum of Art and Elaine Horowich Gallery.
